Description: Malahide Golf Club, one of Ireland's oldest golf clubs, was founded in 1892 by Nathaniel Hone R.H.A. reputedly the greatest Irish landscape painter of the period. He was Captain of the Club from 1892 to 1896 while his close friend Richard Wogan, 5th Baron Talbot de Malahide was the Club's first President holding that office from 1892 to his death in 1921.
